2-Step Verification with Email for Enhanced Security
Uniqkey now offers 2-step verification to boost account security. Organization admins can enable this feature in settings, applying it across all employees. Once activated, users will see its status in their mobile app profile.
When signing in with their Master Password, users will receive a verification code via email, which they'll need to enter to complete login. Users can also enable 2-step verification independently, even if their organization hasn’t enforced it. However, users cannot disable it if required by their organization.
Track Employee Security Scores for Improved Organizational Insights
Monitor individual employee security scores, helping identify who impacts the organization’s security the most.
The score is calculated as the average of all login scores linked to the employee, including shared logins, within an organization. Logins with an empty password field are excluded.
Scores are organization-specific and displayed only for employees with Active or Archived statuses.
This feature helps organizations strengthen security by identifying key improvement areas.
Uniqkey Access Score for Enhanced User Security
Uniqkey now calculates an Access Score for each user, based on the strength of their Master Password and whether they have reused passwords.
The score is calculated for users with Active, Unprocessed, or Archived statuses. This feature helps identify potential vulnerabilities by assessing the security of a user's master password and password reuse habits, promoting stronger security practices.
Group Security Scores for Detailed Organizational Assessment
Uniqkey now calculates a Group Security Score to help admins evaluate the security performance of employee groups within their organization.
The Group Score is determined by averaging two key metrics:
-
The Uniqkey Access Score
-
The Average Employee Security Score
Only members with at least one of these scores and in Active status are included in the calculation. This feature enables admins to identify areas for improvement and ensure stronger security practices across their teams.
Service Security Scores for Enhanced Insights
Uniqkey now calculates a Service Security Score to provide a clear view of the security posture for specific services.
The Service Score is calculated as the average of all login security scores associated with the service. Only logins with a valid security score are included in the calculation.
This update includes:
-
A new Service Details tab for easier score management.
-
Automatic recalculation of service scores to reflect changes in login security.
-
Updated filters to align with the latest security score metrics.
This feature helps admins monitor and improve service-level security within their organization.
