We’re excited to introduce a new feature that enables all users in your organization to use Uniqkey - even those without a company-issued mobile device.
What’s New
-
Enable secure login for all employees, including frontline staff or contractors without mobile devices.
-
Control authentication policies via the new “Require mobile authentication” setting in the admin console.
-
Simplify onboarding for teams previously excluded from multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Key Benefits
-
Broader Coverage
Ensure secure access for every employee-not just mobile users. -
Granular Control
Decide who must authenticate via mobile, based on role, risk level, or operational needs. -
Streamlined Management
Easily configure and manage authentication policies from a central dashboard.
How It Work
Access the Setting
Navigate to: Admin Console > Settings > Security
Configure "Require Mobile Authentication"
- Enabled: Enforces mobile-based authentication.
- Disabled: Allows selected users to log in without a mobile device.
Assign to Users or Groups
Define access policies at user or group level for maximum flexibility.

Set group policy
Allow group data to be accessed without mobile authentication.

Important
We still recommend mobile-based authentication for high-risk or privileged accounts to ensure maximum protection.
