Pair your Uniqkey app with a new browser for seamless access to your secured logins. Uniqkey is compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.
Instructions
Step 1. Download the Uniqkey Extension
- You will have recieved a "Welcome to Uniqkey" email, through here you can click "Activate My Account".
- This will prompt your browser to open a window and automatically ask tell "Pop-up blocked", you will need to click this icon and allow the pop up. Hereafter, click on the "puzzle"-icon and mark the needle-icon. This will pin the Uniqkey-extension to your browser-bar.
You should now be redirected to the extension download page. (If it does not happen automatically, try refreshing the page)
After the installation is complete, you will be asked to create a "Master Password". As seen below, certain requirements have to be met when creating a Master Password. Follow the on-screen instructions, as the boxes will be checked when requirement is met.
Step 2. Download the Uniqkey Mobile App
- On screen you will notice a QR code that, when scanned with your phone's camera, will open up the App Store.
Step 3. Pair with Mobile App
When the app is installed, proceed to your PCs browser and press "I have installed the app".
Using the Uniqkey App, scan the green QR code that is shown on your PCs browser - this will automatically connect the app to the browser extension. Alternatively, you can connect your app manually with the "Use a one-time code" on screen.
The app will ask you to create a 6 digit passcode - this passcode will be your login to the Uniqkey App. Additionally, the app will ask if you are interested in using biometrics as an extra safety measure. Click allow notifications.
Congratulations! Your Uniqkey app is now successfully paired with your browser.
