This guide explains how to remove logins from employee accounts to ensure secure data management and share unmanaged logins with users or groups to streamline collaboration.
Instructions
Log in to the Admin Portal
- Access the Admin Portal by scanning the QR code with your Uniqkey mobile app.
- Navigate to the All Secured Data tab.
Functionality Overview:
1. Filter Logins
- Filter logins by various criteria as needed.
2. Move the Logins of Employees Back to Their Private Keychain
- This function allows you to move an employee's login from the work keychain back to their private keychain. Once the login is moved, the employee becomes its owner, and you no longer have an overview of it.
1. Select the login that you want to move back to the employee's private keychain.
2. Click the Move icon in the top menu.
3. Confirm the action.
3. Move to Employee
- This function allows you to move one employee’s work login to the work keychain of another employee. In this case, the first user will lose access to the login.
1. Select the Login that you want to move to the employee.
2. Click the Move to Employee icon in the top menu.
3. Select an employee.
4. Confirm moving.
4. Move to Group
- This function allows you to move an employee’s work login to a group keychain. The employee will lose access to the login once it is moved.
1. Select the login that you want to move to a group.
2. Click the Move to Group icon in the top menu.
3. Select a group.
4. Confirm the action.
5. Remove an Organization Vault from an Employee’s Account
- This function allows you to remove an employee’s work login from their keychain. The login will remain under the All Secured Data tab with the status Unmanaged. See the next step for managing unmanaged logins.
1. Select the login that you want to remove from a user or group.
2. Click the Remove icon in the top menu.
3. Confirm the removal.
4. The user’s access to the login has been removed.
6. Delete an Organization Vault from Admin Portal
- If you want to permanently remove a vault from your organization, you can delete it. Please note: You can only delete vaults that are in the status Unmanaged.
1. Select the unmanaged login that you want to delete.
2. Click the trash bin icon in the top menu.
3. Confirm the deletion process.
Tip: If you want to review all logins with the status Unmanaged, you can filter them by clicking the filter icon in the top menu. Then, click the field Managed By and select the status Unmanaged.
